To whom it may concern, Armor for Sleep gets so much better than the singles as for the sole vibe of the album, and Portugal. The Man has released a really cool record (seems the general consensus is that it's great, outside of the one comment above, so maybe it's at least worth checking out imo) I've also listened to that Alexisonfire cover EP already, and I'm now shifting (from the bands I started listening more than 20 years ago), putting The Mountain Goats on
why? The ice ad? Do they rip off artists more than other platforms? Trying to understand so I can make a decision. If I ditched every platform that ran an ad I didn’t agree with I’d be left with nothing….
yeah exactly.... they pay the artists the least out of any platform, they run that ICE ad, and also the sound quality is not up to the same standard as compared to Tidal and Apple Music

The Hand by Annabelle Dinda is finally out today. Run that TF up. Song will be and should be absolutely massive.
This is Kelsey Kopeckys new band. There is some level involvement from… the band who must not be named. I am loving this album though
just so folks make informed decisions: this album was co-written and produced by jesse lacey, brian lane, and mike sapone. it was released on procrastinate! music traitors, the record label started by brand new.

Astronoid (Stargod) -- post-metal-like shoegaze, but this time there is some 80's flair! It actually works really well. This is thing is one happy-sounding album. Armor for Sleep (There Is No Memory) -- Their sophomore album is one of my all-time favorites. Their post-hiatus work has really, really hit. Unwell (Allegoria) -- Alt rock with some pop-punk and light metalcore. This album sounds darker than their previous one, and I haven't adjusted to that yet. I's still pretty catchy. Pupil Slicer (Fleshwork) -- Heavy, furious, wonderful mathcore. Fickle Friends (Fickle Friends) -- Good pop indie. Bright & happy. DRAIN (...IS YOUR FRIEND) -- Some nice, groovy hardcore. Bearings (Comfort Company) -- Really energetic pop-punk. Town Portal (Grindwork) -- Instrumental post-rock/metal. Groovy. Listen if you like Russian Circles or Pelican. Novembre (Words Of Indigo) -- Excellent doomy gothic rock. Jonas Lindberg & The Other Side (Time Frames) -- Good traditional prog. White Lies (Night Light) -- Post-punk, alt-rock, & indie mash-up. This album isn't grabbing me like their last couple of albums have, but I still like it.
Please don’t take this comment as a defense of Spotify, but just so you’re aware, they did roll out Lossless streaming this year
Thanks. I don't use their platform as I use Apple Music, so I was just going off of what I was told recently.
it was the song ‘easy’ that really solidified the comparison in my head. thanks for sharing, was not on my radar!
