It came out in September, but I just came across it: Thumpaverse by Thumpasaurus is knocking me on my ass. Not sure if anyone remembers the band Dogs Die in Hot Cars, but this band is throwing off major DDiHC vibes in the best way possible. Super weird but super catchy. Dead Eyes: Stability EP Imminence: Heaven In Hiding Lifehouse: Goodbye Kanan EP Resolve: Between Me And The Machine Sion: Sion The Tea Party: Blood Moon Rising* Wars: A Hundred Shivers We Are The Catalyst: Perseverance Zebrahead: III EP From earlier this week: Demon In Me: I'm Gonna Love You Like You're Already Gone Man With A Mission: Break And Cross The Walls I *In Things That Annoy Me for $200, The Tea Party decided for their new album that they would take the songs from their 2019 Black River EP, add a bunch of new songs, and then promptly only release it in Europe despite being a Canadian band. The new songs they collected in an EP called Sunshower and made the EP digital only for the rest of the world. Because I prefer the album (which has bonus covers not on the EP), I had to take the roundabout method of Googling the album on Spotify and using the web version to link the album to my playlist. Such a stupid way of doing things.
I like Zach's posts because stuff on my list tends to be on there and I don't know if Zach actually listens to all that stuff or just compiles a release list, but I'd like to believe it's the former which makes me feel better about my listening choices.
Meadowlark is some cool indie pop that came out with a new album. Haven’t listened yet but I’ll check it on Monday
