The new Wonder Years is awesome. Is all of their stuff this good and I didn’t love it because my ears weren’t working properly or is Volume III of Burst and Decay a major step up?? I know these are like acoustic re-imaginings for the most part…but this hits me so much better. Am I alone here?
This is definitely a step up as far as the Burst & Decay series goes. The others were more straightforward acoustic versions of their songs, this one transforms several of them beyond that transition. I would also recommend this live set they did some years back that showed the potential of what the Burst & Decay series could be:
