Thank you for the Stars Hollow mentions. I'm loving this. Vocalist was reminding me of someone I couldn't think of. Finally did - Lifestory Monologue singer. I wonder what happened to them.

Oh hell yes! The single is phenomenal, and I got back to their previous material as well - each time I revisit I wonder how is this band not MUCH bigger! People! check them out! ;D Aaron Marsh produced their first EP and played/sang on it a bit, they had Brennan Taulbee of Polyenso on a fantastic guest vocal appearance, but later they just outdid all of that with their lavish LPs! Highly recommended and can't wait for more music from them!

This new Weezer record is the best thing they've done that's power-pop oriented since the White Album.

It's not really metal beyond a lot of riffing and solos. It's going to sound INCREDIBLY fun in an arena.

Is it bad that I never heard of the band "Stars Hollow" but instantly recognized it as the name of the town from Gilmore Girls? Lol

The Miranda Lambert/Jack Ingram/Jon Randall album is incredibly gorgeous and so uniquely intimate. I almost can't believe such a major artist release something so unvarnished. I very highly recommend that album.

The Weezer record is fun. I wasn't huge on OK Human, but this one hits closer to the mode in which I enjoy that band most.

The Sarah Jarosz album is her usual level of hauntingly beautiful.
