Hot dog thats a lot of albums to check out this weekend! Someone give this guy reddit gold. I'm psyched for bad religion and vampire weekend. Between BR, American Football, Pedro the Lion, and soon to be Tool (it looks like), 2019 is shaping up to be a year where a lot of older bands are putting out incredible records.
Caroline Spence and acoustic Donovan Woods are what I'm most excited for. I'll also check out Joy Williams.
Singles: Shawn Mendes, Logic ft Eminem, Old Dominion, Bastille, Angels & Airwaves, Toby Keith, Madonna, Real Friends, Issues, Chon, Taking Meds (Such Gold side project) Albums Stickup Kid New Found Glory Bad Religion Vampire Weekend Frank Carter & the Rattlesnakes L7
Bad Religion – Age Of Unreason (definitely sticking to their sound as always but enjoying the album) Big Thief – U.F.O.F. Fury – Failed Entertainment New Found Glory – From the Screen to Your Stereo 3 (this was so good. they are so consistenly great with their cover albums) Pile – Green and Gray Tacocat – This Mess Is A Place Vampire Weekend – Father Of The Bride That new YG single. Looks like the album isn't out yet?
Kinda weird he releases an acoustic version of an album that was essentially acoustic to begin with, but I will be listening as well as I love his vibe.
Is it that different of an animal that it has much replay value if I've already listened to the original 1000x?
My buddy moved to Nashville last year to focus on doing music. He formed a band and they released their debut EP today. I’m bad at RIYL stuff but it’s rock-y. I’m gonna say it’s the Springsteen side of The Menzingers? IDK, it’s a good fun inoffensive to the ears listen.
Producer Aaron Sprinkle released two new EPs from two different projects: Luna Wave- Luna Wave II Snow Bones- Begin To Begin Snow Bones sounds real good, Luna Wave is if you strictly like that bumpin’ club music
Some of the songs are pretty similar. But a lot of them feel like fresh meat. "I Ain't Ever Loved No One" was my favorite song of last year, and hearing it with a different female vocalist scared me but I may like it even better.
