Eighteen Visions was my go to for today until my buddy insisted I listen to the new Gridiron.

This may be the hardcore album of the summer. It's so fun and heavy!!!

    • Rivers of Nihil -- Heavy prog (that is not excessive! (longest song is 6.5 min)) with a very tasteful use of sax. First album with Ex-Black Crown Initiate clean vocalist. Easily their best work since Owls.
    • Spitafield -- THEY'RE BACK!!
    • Vildhjarta -- One of the first (and best) bands doing djent/dissonant metal are back with another great one.
    • Stray From The Path -- Surprise release of their final album. Hardcore that has pretty on-the-nose lyrics, but makes me want to windmill straight into the pit.
    • Wolves at the Gate -- Incredibly catchy metalcore.
    • Indifferent Engine -- Killer post-hardcore band with some screamo influence.
    • FRND CRCL -- Quick and wonderful pop-punk.
    • The Haunted -- Great melodeath
    • Puteraeon -- Awesome, thick & heavy sludge with a cosmic horror bent.
    • Obsidian Tongue -- Weird black metal

Apparently took a minute to get up. But it's streaming now! I was surprised when I saw they had a release today. But that surprise turned to sadness when I found out this will be their last album
