Duuude same! Haha I was going to comment that's one of the funniest band names ever. The worm 100% is still alive.

For me its 68, Paul McCartney, and Sparta. I'm amazed Paul can still put out such high quality stuff at 83. But then again he is one of the greatest song writers of all time.

    So much incredible shit today

    • Elder (Through Zero) -- One of my absolute favorite bands. Progressive stoner. This one is a tiny bit heavier than their last few. It's incredible.
    • Redshift (Down the Wire) -- Progressive metal. So fucking good if you like technical wizardry with some great riffs and catchy melodies.
    • Wolf & Bear (A Hill to Die On) -- Insanely catchy post-hardcore. Think Swancore, but more deliberate and not spastic.
    • Monolord (Neverending) -- Just great, great stoner metal. Fat riffs.
    • Balmora (These Graven Halls) -- Throwback metalcore that is so, so, so good.
    • Harboured (We're Only The Love That We Lead) -- Mix of black-metal, post-metal, and post-hardcore that really fucking works.
    • Static Dress (Injury Episode) -- Insane post-hardcore/emo band.
    • Serpent Lord (The Once Forgotten Ways of Old) -- One-man black-metal from the vocalist/guitarist of Uada.

I was surprised no one else had these guys on their list today. I was thinking maybe people are just over the style, but W&B put a little extra something on it and shouldn’t be looked over. You described it pretty well.

FUCK! I forgot about the following albums because they released at the beginning/middle of the week:

Albion (It Was In The Month of May)INCREDIBLE folk-prog that is so catchy and beautiful. Some of the most British shit ever (the first song is in welsh).

Galvanist (The Silence Between Stars) — You wouldn’t think doom and black metal go together, but this band makes it work.

lovemenot (Strike !! Between the Teeth) — Just great prog

The Scalar Process (Agnomysticism) — Great proggy tech-death. Think Zenith Passage
