Beach House Strung Out And I'm seriously underwhelmed by the new Arctic Monkeys album. All the songs sound so much alike that I almost cannot tell them apart. Also the way that Alex sings sounds so forced and cringe-inducing. “Four out of Five” and the title track were the only standouts for me.
The Sea and Cake is the only thing that matters today!!! Been waiting for new music for quite a while from them!
Strung Out The Body Abraham Skinless Ecstatic Vision Ghoul/Ill Bill split Body Void De Profundis Lighter week for me. Probably still won't get to all of these too though, but oh well. Edit: How could I forget Slow Mass? Well, I just did so bad on me. :(
Strung out is really all for me this week. Might get Bad Wolves if it sounds good from the previews. New songs from Bastille and Bleeding Through though!
Arctic Monkeys' latest is a challenging listen, but I feel its worth your time. I'll have my review of it up on the site later today for those who want to see my full thoughts on the album.
I usually have like 6 or 7 singles I'm interested in, but today there were literally 20. But as far as albums go... DJ Jazzy Jeff Wale EP Arctic Monkeys Charlie Puth Beach House Henrietta EP Worlds Greatest Dad Strung Out Yours Are The Only Ears
So far, it's a very weak lineup. Acoustic Strung Out just isn't for me, I turned off Beach House after 3 tracks and I'm struggling with AM.
I found the Strung Out record to be a mixed bag but ultimately I enjoyed it. AM is VERY different and I feel like a grower. Beach House was quality but they will never touch Bloom.
