Reminds me of Josh Ritter's The Beast In Its Tracks in some ways, another deeply personal "divorce album" that felt like a punch in the chest.
I didn’t love the two pre release songs nearly as much as anything on Weathervanes but I’m excited to spin the vinyl tonight
Spider God is great. Not sure how the demos will turn out, but definitely an underrated metalcore band. And I mean metalcore in the early 2000s sense.
My band put out a new single today! If you like 90s grunge, specifically Alice In Chains, you’ll like this.

I love that album, and it's a great comparison point. I don't know if there's anything as magnanimous as "Joy to You Baby" on here, but that's one of my favorite breakup songs ever. The last verse of that song is just so beautiful.
ALMOST forgot about the deluxe version of Kelsea Ballerini's Patterns that released today. 5 stunning new songs are up on streaming.
Really enjoying this. Also, I was up in GB last week for work lol Appleton sounds like a nice town. Most of my coworkers live there.
its for sure a bit more chill. just him and a guitar. i'm diggin it. i bet it sounds amazing on vinyl.
