I think it may come up if you just search for "Day At The Fair" without the A....they used to use the A in the name but dropped it I believe
Didn't realized that was coming out today. Emmure has always been bad imo but I might check that out just for the lolz
Yup. If you just search 'day at the fair epilogue' on spotify it should come up. They're listed as 'A Day At The Fair' on Spotify.
Minus The Bear - VOIDS A Will Away - Here Again A Day at The Fair - The Epilogue Senses Fail - In Your Absence
A Will Away (really good) Heart Attack Man (also really good) Bleached (haven't listened but the singles are dope) Del Paxton (really good) Senses Fail (I love them, but not this release) Minus the Bear (haven't listened yet) Also, since these releases didn't get nearly enough love last week: Decade's new album Pleasantries is for everyone who is sick of most of the modern pop punk bands. It has hooks for days and doesn't sound like a TSSF rip-off. I highly recommend it and their first record. Kind of like a Green Day meets JEW type of sound with some grunge in there. Reward is a tiny band but their new record Music for the End of the World is what I've been missing from Balance and Composure ever since Separation, with some added experimentation. EDIT: Backwards Dancer is pretty interesting, sounds like an homage to The Used/My Chem in some ways. I'll keep an eye on them as they go forward.
It sounds more like a mix between Reach for the Sun and War Paint by The Dangerous Summer than anything Transit put out.
Yeah this is probably true. I was trying to make the Transit connection since they used the same producer, Gary Cioffi, but they do sound more TDS to me too. Great album regardless.
Thanks for that rec. I've been lost when looking for good, new pop punk for a while outside of Trashboat, Seaway and a handful of others. Also checked out Reward and loved what I've listened to so far on that record. Has a hint of Hoteliers mixed with older B&C feel to me.
Backwards Dancer - Backwards Dancer A Will Away - Here Again Dia Frampton - Bruises Tim Kasher – No Resolution Heart Attack Man - The Manson Family Del Paxton - All Day, Every Day, All Night Nnamdi Ogbonnaya - Drool Khalid - American Teen Unless I'm forgetting any, this is what I'll be listening to.
JANE LIVE IS SO GOOD honestly makes me wonder why Converge didn't put out a live album sooner, full-album performance or otherwise
Tokio Hotel - "Dream Machine" and Senses Fail - "In Your Absence" were the two albums on my radar today. Really enjoyed the two Tokio singles released from the album, and hoping the rest of the tracks will grow on me.
So glad you're digging those records! I really think more people should check out both bands, especially Decade. "British Weather" is such a banger and should be on the radio (it's from their first record). Also, one of the bands they're touring with (Big Spring) has put out some killer singles recently. I'm hoping they do a full length soon.
Blanck Mass is really good. And Sondre Lerche is news to me! He's put out a lot of incredible music over the years, especially if you're into sophisticated but wistful indie pop.
