Mastodon's record is a big step back in the right direction after their last two. The vocals on it are so good.
Good release day for me: Demon Hunter - Outlive Mastodon - Emperor of Sand Tei Shi - Crawl Space Julia Holter - In the Same Room
One of my good friends from home plays in a band called Poeta, and today they put out their first release since being signed to CI Records last year. It's an 8-track album called Golden Fields. Best comparison I can make would be that they sound like a less heavy version of Self Titled-era Saosin; their vocalist has some insane pipes, sounds a lot like Cove Reber, honestly. The album is available on all the usual outlets if anyone is interested.
For anyone who is/was a fan of Margot & The Nuclear So and So's, their ex-singer has a new solo album today. Richard Edwards - Lemon Cotton Candy Sunset Very Margot vibe, one of my most anticipated records in a long time
spotify does a really shitty job on letting me know about new music. The release radar playlist didn't even have the bleachers song on it.
Mine is always pretty solid of scooping up singles I didn't know about. Like the new singles from Alt J and Cold War Kids today. Maybe you don't listen to enough bleachers? Haha
Man I hadn't heard he was releasing a solo so thanks for mentioning this. Lil Dead Eye-d just rocked my world
Nothing for me. I'll spend some more time with the few releases I picked up from the past few weeks. Kinda want to do a deep dive into all things Conor Oberst too.
I don't listen to it a lot but I have them in my saved albums list. There are a lot of artists in the playlist that i don't even know about.
