New Free Throw is great. The Maine’s new album is absolutely incredible. Still have to listen to Laura Stevenson and Simple Creatures.

 

Never really listened to Free Throw but I'm enjoying this new album.

 

Anyone sleeping on Laura Stevenson's records is fucking up big time.

 

Shit, I had no idea Have Heart was even back together! Thanks for the good news today!!

Most importantly for me, my band, Tightrope, released our first single "Cold Bones" on Spotify (and everywhere else) today. I don't love doing the self-promotion thing, but I think some of you might actually dig it. Doesn't hurt that it was mastered by @bradsonemanband either! Would love to hear what you guys think!

FYI - The new Have Heart single is an old b-side from their 2008 album that's been online before and is getting a re-release as a part of the B9 Mystery Box. Thought it sounded familiar when I gave it a stream.

 

Damn, I love the song and had never heard it before, so either way I'm happy, but wish this was confirmation they were going to be making new music.

 

Also, don't know if anyone mentioned The Strumbellas new album came out today as well.

There's also a band called Mess with a new album that sounds like Kississippi if you're into that sort of thing.

 

Just finished Simple Creatures and it was...underwhelming. 'Lucy' is the only song I think I'll be returning to.

Excited to check out Free Throw, Owel, and Laura Stevenson.

And, of course, The Maine. Gonna get stoned and light some candles after work tonight and blast it for my first listen.
