Sorority Noise and the Conor Oberst today for sure. But the biggest for me is that new Real Estate. They just consistently release solid record after solid record.
Julien Baker - Funeral Pyre single Officially out today I believe. Includes distant solar systems bside. Loving it!!
I continue not to understand the Sorority Noise hype, at all. Some pretty good country records out today, though. Steve Moakler and Rich O'Toole are both excellent.
Will probably only listen to a record or two today. Going to BMTH/UO/Beartooth tonight so I'll have that playlist on repeat. Here's my list to get to: Knuckle Puk - Calendar Days/Indecisive Sorority Noise – You’re Not As _____ As You Think Stolas – Stolas
Im with you on Sorority Noise. I have tried so many times but just can't get into them at all. Just tried to listen to the new album but still- not for me.
As soon as I heard a '59 Sound reference on the 2nd track of Sorority Noise, I was dialed in. Good stuff, and I'm hoping the lyrical content is providing a positive outlet for the singer...dark and super personal, but lovely.
Counterfeit, not Counterfit. You got me really excited there for a moment, but alas, nothing but disappointment. Jerk.
i have real estate, anohni, and the obsessives. will give sorority noise a chance like i have all of them and maybe find a song or two i like, though i'm far less excited for this one than the last
The Sorority Noise album is awesome. Way different from Joy, Departed but I'm really enjoying it. Also gonna check out Conor Oberst when I an pull myself away from You're Not As _____ As You Think.
Good day for music. Conor Oberst is solid and Sorority Noise will probably be an all-time great/legendary scene album.
Daphne Loves Derby's entire back catalogue just showed up on streaming services so I'll have that on all day. Also Spoon.
