Throwing Muses and Bambara for me today, plus new singles from Pinstock and Fucked Up (and Chappell Roan, but this one ain't working for me). Coheed and Clipping are always hit or miss (for me) so I might get around to them, might not.

I like the Third Eye Blind single too. Hoping that means the new album is coming.

I am most excited about the new FRND CRCL song and album announcement:

Their new album JRSY FRSH is coming out May 30th!

I hope this is the album that helps them break out. They are great dudes and sound really good. Super catchy pop punk.

The person who just posted before me only just made me aware of the Frnd Crcl single so im listening to that once i hit post on this.

@JRGComedy - listened to the single and it was really good!! Brand New vibes for sure minus the ick. Love it! Yours is the second Chorus FM band now to have given me BN vibes. Out of Service being the other. EDIT: Just listened to "Cigarette Burns" on Apple Music and liked that song too!

 

Probably my favorite thing released so far this year. Way too short though.

This Tiny Voices album is excellent. Some Swellers vibes for sure:

 

Major ones for me today are Coheed & Cambria, Steven Wilson, and Tiktaalika (Haken guitarist Charlie Griffiths and friends). Clipping, Tiny Voices, and idialedyournumber are also on my radar.

St. Lucia’s new album is out today. Surprised it didn’t make the list, chill vibes ahead!

 

Finally listening to this Chain album and REALLY enjoying it.

 

It's quite good! Like a more grunge/alt-rock influenced cousin of the current melodic, hardcore-influenced (pop)punk sound.
