Other stuff out today: Black Map Condemned Darkest Hour (duh-doi) Earthists Evocation Nova Collective (members of BTBAM and Haken) Planning For Burial Such A Mess Pumped to hear Can't Swim's new shit as well. Seeing them with FYS in a couple weeks.
Biggest things today are Jay Som, Thelma, and Hater, three amazing woman led bands on a perfect week to do so
So far, all I have are: The Shins Laura Marling Tennis And, most importantly for me, the 20 Year Anniversary ReRelease of Elliott Smith's Either/Or. if you've never heard his music, now's the time!
All about the new Jay Som record. Didn't know Tennis had an album out today; will definitely have to check that out too.
Definitely checking out Can't Swim and I was really excited for Mallory Knox after their last two albums were awesome but this release is a bit of a letdown. Very Underwhelmed. Also you guys should check out the first single from Scott Russo's (unwritten law) daughter Cailin. She has quite a voice.
Also, just saw 311 has a new single. Haven't loved much of their recentish stuff but I'm digging this reggae vibe
Been hearing great things about the Darkest Hour record, otherwise nothing here I'm overly excited for. Bush – Black And White Rainbows Can’t Swim – Fail You Again Circa Waves – Different Creatures Darkest Hour - Godless Prophets & The Migrant Flora The Shins – Heartworms EDIT: Just noticed the new Mallory Knox dropped today too. EDT 2: And the deluxe edition of Basement's Promise Everything
Is it just me, or is the production on this new Shins album whack? Basically makes the album unlistenable to me. Tennis and Laura Marling are divine so far
This Can't Swim album is already my AotY frontrunner....can't see what The Flatliners have in store for us next month!
