The Black Key's album is alright. Better than Turn Blue, but not 100% what I was hoping for.

I loved their early releases but my favorite album is Brothers (I know I'm in the minority).

My top pick today is the new album from Runaway June. New Ingrid and Black Keys are also very enjoyable.

Really enjoying BENEE who is a New Zealand Pop artist. New EP is a good little short listen.

Also Julia Michaels new EP is also very good.

Other than those I enjoyed He Is Legend and the new Hives song.

"The Beautiful Moment - I'm the Reaper" is the top release of the day for me. I'm super impressed with this record thus far. I'm almost to the end.

I'd coincidentally been listening to them a lot lately, not that it'd been as long for me, I'd really liked The Titan EP when I came 'round to it maybe a year after its release. But I've had a renewed appetite for Oh, Sleeper era metalcore lately, and am glad they're putting out some new stuff.

Oh, and The Appleseed Cast is blowing me away (even with very high expectations), and hopeful for He Is Legend, even though their last album is my least favourite from their discography. Credit to them for pumping out so much music nowadays after a long period of relative inactivity.

I always thought Brothers and El Camino were the fan favorites. Attack and Release has been mine though. I'm liking the album so far. The inspiration for the album title was interesting:

Sometimes an album just names itself. "We were in the studio and reading the local news in Nashville," The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach told Apple Music's Zane Lowe. "They executed the first prisoner in 16 years in Nashville the week we were recording. They asked for his final words and he said, 'Let's Rock.'"
