Regina Spektor, Coheed, MUNA, Onelinedrawing, Soccer Mommy for me today. Will also give Alexisonfire a go, even though I haven't been into their brand of loud in a decade.

Edit: good news, still an AOF fan.

Death Touches Us, From the Moment we Begin to Love Supporter

I'll come back and say that Alexisonfire is definitely an album an Aoty contender for me, the outro to World Stops Turning is just great. Dallas kills the vocals on this album no doubt!

Also I must say that I'm really enjoying this new Coheed a lot. The most I've enjoyed their work since No World For Tomorrow (and I'm only 5 songs in!)

The fact that so many of you are overlooking the new Fairweather ep is absolutely criminal. Most of you would probably love it. Don’t sleep on it.

Thanks for the MUNA recommendation! This is really good. Reminds me of a blend between Now, Now, The Aces, and Eliza and the Delusionals. Really great stuff!

    D'oh! Prestigious

That was exactly the other way round for mew ;d ;d and wow what a release day! I spent the whole weekend listening to new music and still didn't catch up with everything!

No use naming everything now (besides underscoring how excited I still am to have new AOF music this year!), as for some it's old news already, but out of the smaller acts there's a cool new EP by Efterklang, a Danish band I couldn't recommend enough.
