I had never heard of this band but found their album in the new releases section of Apple Music, randomly clicked play and I’m liking it:

Weathers - Kids in the Night

 

Vein is nuts and its exactly what I hoped it would be. Band is about to blow up.

 

Third Eye Blind just dropped a single from their cover album

 

Wooooah never heard of them but holy shit. Pretty awesome. Reminds me of some of my favorite metalcore bands in the mid 2000s. Me gusta

 

They just sound like she's going through the motions. I think after her song with FGL the label just said gives us your 12 best singles, not your best songs. If so, I think they're doing her a disservice by not lettting her present a cohesive album, but I guess most pop stars now are just delivering groups of singles instead of albums.

 

Well, you can drop at least one band from your list of examples now.

 

New Gibbs and Vein are soooooooo goooood. Also I'm stoked for vacationer.

 

Dave said on an Instagram love video that more things are coming in the next few days, weeks, and months. A Mae album is coming. Coheed announced theirs today.

 

Possibly best release date of 2018. So many sleeper picks.

Yeah i was surprised that, after all of the build up on Instagram, that all they did was drop a song. They deleted all of the Instagram posts. I really thought it was gonna be a full on album announcement. Oh well, I've wait this long.

 

Good find. Reminds me a lot of Neon Trees.

 

Late but just discovered:

Chin Up, Kid - Chin Up, Kid

This is a really good pop punk type record that’s just fun for summer. Released 6/22. Definitely worth a listen. I’d never heard of them until today.

 

Seconded. This slays.

 

This new Vacationer is a huge hit for me! still haven't caught up on a few other releases though.
