Mae has a new single and it’s freaking great. As for albums, about to hit play on This Wild Life. Might get around to panic.

Let's get these people moving faster! Supporter

Had never heard of them, and pressed play without even knowing the genre. First thoughts were a mash-up of old Threat Signal (when using more traditional metal riffs) and Dillinger Escape Plan (for the chaotic time and vocal changes and overall genre-busting). Pardon that I'm not deep enough into the genre these days to make a better comparison, but I can totally hear why people will love this release. And for whatever reason reminded me it's been way too long since I listened to some BTBAM.

wow didn't know Abandoned by Bears had a new album coming. Just checked out the single, very tame for them. Sounds like no screaming at all.....seems like the typical progression of these pop punk/hardcore combo bands

Didn't see it mentioned but Ice Nine Kills has a new single. They are doing another themed album coming out this summer I believe. Not loving the first single however.

Not gonna lie, really getting over these random singles with no album info. Coheed, Thrice, and now MAE have dropped singles with no info regarding album info. Like comeone! I'm not getting any younger guys! /s. But for real, I really liked the song. Got some strange Bowie and coldplay vibes from some of the sounds/imagery I was hearing in my head. They are always killing it.

This Bebe Rexha album is very strange...theres no rhyme or reason to the genre of songs, feels like a grab bag of singles that were thrown together. The urban songs sound very disingenuous...I'd love to see the writing credits on this. She's a talented songwriter but none of these sound like they're written in her voice.

    Yup, my thoughts exactly.

I think that it's better than mediocre but not great, & I agree with you on pretty much all of that. I wasn't paying attention to my playlist & genuinely thought the album opener was a Miley Cyrus song. Not in a bad way, Miley rules. What do you mean by "the urban songs sound very disingenuous"?
