You know it's 2022 when you see no mention of an album and have to Google someone to make sure they didn't do something to be cancelled before you make a comment, that being said, is everyone sleeping on the new Pete Yorn?
Looks like Alexisonfire is actually next week, according to their bandcamp album page. On the bright side, new Pete Yorn album!
Gonna check out the new DRUGS out of pure curiosity. Within Destruction and Enterprise Earth both have new singles out though and they're great.
Ryan Mendez and I put out our first motion picture soundtrack with Jedha. https://found.ee/DinnerPartyOST
Kinda weird. She released an EP like one or two weeks ago, then released this new EP yesterday with the exact same songs, adding one additional new song. Not sure why she did that, but I've been a fan of hers for years now.
On my radar this week: Alice Merton: S.I.D.E.S. April Art: P.O.K.E.R.F.A.C.E. Big Wreck: 7.2 EP Dir En Grey: Phalaris D.R.U.G.S.: Destroy Rebuild Fastball: The Deep End Foals: Life Is Yours Grey Daze: The Phoenix Just Loud: Just Loud Lit: Tastes Like Gold Nova Twins: Supernova Our Last Night: Empires Fall EP Vexes: Imagine What We Could Destroy /// If Only Given Time 1. Fastball releasing a new album in 2022 is not just nice, but noice. 2. I've had that Just Loud album on my radar for four goddamn years, and they finally just decided to shadow drop it with no fanfare. Wild. 3. I don't plan to listen to it, but the idea of Alanis Morrissette putting out a meditation album is fascinating stuff.
Zach, why don't you just manage these release posts? I come to these threads for your post since the release calendar is very outdated. Cheers mate thanks for all you do.
Dude if it wasn't for you I would have had no idea he released a new one. Thanks a ton. I used to be a big fan back in the early and mid 2000s. There's some real good songs on this new one. Again, thanks!
That Counterpunch song belongs on a Tony Hawk Pro Skater soundtrack. Definitely Millencolin, No Use For A Name, Lagwagon era.
