The new MXPX is great, and I’m also really digging on the Oh, Weatherly album as well. Jake from Mayday Parade produced the album, really really catchy tunes...

Slowest week of the year for me. The new Metric single Dressed to Suppress is enjoyable. Might check out Like Pacific and MxPx due to all the good words in this thread, but not sure if either would be my cup of tea.

Really liking the new Catherine McGrath album. Felt like I was listening to an older Taylor Swift record.

  10. Thin Lips is so good and is not getting enough love in this thread.

My notes on first listen this morning were "This is good, but it sounds way too much like Mayday Parade for me to return to".

I was just going to post this. have you listed to the new album yet? I have just started it and I like what I hear so far. They have the potential to be a lot bigger if they just got on the right tour.

You know, it was a really enjoyable listen. They seemed to have switched styles a bit to a more "doo-wop style rock" (not sure what you would consider that genre!), which isn't bad, just unexpected based on the last album. It was a pretty fun listen!

It sounds like polished catchy pop/punk, that’s all I need it to be...

Wasn't planning on listening to Like Pacific, but holy moly am I glad I did. Best pop-punk album I've heard in a while.

I think the first few songs are real bangers... after that it starts getting a little monotonous. A solid release for sure though.
