BLACKBRAID also, Better Lovers and Taylor's Version. I've continually tried to love anything they've put out since Hummingbird, but I honestly think it's untouchable. I've liked some stuff, but I don't let my expectations get super high anymore. I'd love to be proven wrong (haven't listened to this new one yet!), but either way at least I still have their two perfect first records.
I’m still working on last week’s FRND CRCL, Blue Lake and Showbread. And that has me revisiting the Showbread discography. And the Dingees discography for fun!
If I had to guess, maybe it’s because a new swift album came out and no one wants to compete with that? Who knows, but I felt the same way. Oddly light, though I’ve got pretty narrow interests.
Only now did I have a chance to get a bit further down the playlist like I usually try to throughout the weekend and got so surprised to see my band down there, huge thanks! ;o
The Pink Spiders new album is ALOT of fun to listen to! i really enjoyed it. Also the new 408 EP is full of rippers! these dudes are so consistent, and nice to have new music after dropped their full length last year. If you like state champs, carousel kings, broadside, give these dudes a listen!
im finally getting around to it now , i was out of town last week. its really good! solid debut, hope it does great things for them
Yeah, it’s good stuff. Their name kinda put me off at first. All caps, no vowels. Wasn’t sure why but it felt cringy. But the music made me forget that!
yah random name but i dig it a lot! this is another band with a silly name i really enjoy, their new album just came out last month as well. they are called Dead Bundy are from ohio, recommended if you like catchy fun pop punk. their first album is a lot of fun too! https://orcd.co/db-heldback
Yeah first 2 were superior but there have been some A+ tracks since like Dark Day, Coins, and When Am I Gonna Lose You.
