Not defending Steve Klein at all, but where is he credited on the CCNC album? They've been pretty explicit in the promotional materials for the album that they self-produced the entire thing:

I'd almost be impressed at the tone deafness if a band elected to work with a now-convicted pedophile after he'd been arrested.

Only saw the Jaxsta credits and have never heard of them so I questioned its valdity, but if it's listed on AllMusic, then I can confidently say fuck these guys.

Though it may be an artifact of previous work he did with them prior to the allegations coming out and need to credit him for ASCAP/BMI royalty reasons. But I have no idea why they'd be putting out songs they'd worked on that long ago.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I use Spotify 99.9% of the time on mobile. Recently, my app updated to show a notification for new music outside of the weekly update to their Release Radar (attached some screenshots). I love it. No waiting until Friday to see the week’s random release compiled together, it says whether the release is a single, EP, or album and what day it was released (8h ago, 4d ago, etc). Simple things that finally have arrived.

 

This is clutch, I've been waiting for this for a decade, thank you.

 

Weird. I went to check mine out and that option (the little bell) isn’t there. I wonder if it hasn’t rolled out to everyone yet?

 

Yeah, a friend said they weren’t seeing it either yet. FWIW, I’m on iOS. I’ve had that little feature for a week or two included in one of the newer app updates.

They’ve done a bunch of noticeable updates to the app over the last few months, pinning playlists, being able to view and play your history of listened songs, this and I noticed recently the now playing window has been repositioned. Small things that go a long way.
