• Psycho-Frame (Salvation Laughs in the Face of a Grieving Mother) -- Deathcore that goes. IT GOES.
• The Dirty Nil (The Lash) -- Super catchy punk music.
• Tyler Childers (Snipe Hunter) -- One of the best in country right now is still doing it best.
• Agropelter (The Book of Hours) -- Traditional prog (instrumental). Pretty chill, sparkly, & beautiful.
• Vinnie Guidera & the Dead Birds (Afterimage) -- Indie punk/alt-rock with some nice fuzz going on.
• Haxprocess (Beyond What Eyes Can See) -- Do you like Blood Incantation? Yes? Then you will like this. Death metal prog.
• Grayceon (Then the Darkness) -- Cello-forward doom metal. Pretty cool.
• Azure Emote (Cryptic Aura) -- Death metal with violin!

 

I almost didn't click play on the Sammy Rae album because of the white dude with cornrows on the cover, but man, I'm glad I didn't let the little alarm inside/Jiminy Cricket stop me.

In addition to the Band CAMINO, whose new record is giving me the Band CAMINO I personally like the best—straightforward hooky guitar pop—the new full length by Indigo De Souza on first listen seems like a pretty incredible pop record!
