Oh man I can imagine. Even just as someone whose marriage is struggling through quarantine some of it is hitting way too close to home haha. Hang in there!
New Taylor Swift is fantastic, might be her best yet! Both new songs from Lakes are great. I enjoyed the new Movements track but I want way more from them, it feels like a song that will make more sense in an album. Excited to check out Liza Anne and Naked & Famous. Not excited to check out Broadside, but I might. I did not like the Acceptance EP, it's too slick/alt-rock for my taste. Both the record and this EP remind me of modern Christian worship music and that might be my least favourite genre. That's 0/2 for me in their post-hiatus career, and I really enjoyed their early stuff. I listened to Neck Deep out of morbid curiosity (used to be a fan, before all of the stories of how terrible they are as human beings esp to women) and that record was terrible through and through. One of the worst pop punk records I've heard in a while. Edit: Naked and Famous sounds... anonymous? Like electropop anyone could have made. Disappointed, this is the first time they've let me down. Liza Anne is fantastic though. That and T Swift will be on repeat all day.
Really really excited to hear the new TayTay... don't sleep on Courtney Marie Andrews' latest one though - it's heartbreakingly gorgeous.
If anyone is still on the fence about purchasing the new Taylor Swift record, send me a PM...My CD pre-order came with 10 downloads of the full album. Not sure why they send so many full downloads, but happy to share!
holy shit. Didn't know Mortality Rate dropped a new record today too. My Spotify is fucking up. EDIT: just realized it's just sleep deprivation and the tracks from the split repackaged.
