Added some more to my list earlier along with some brief genre comparisons now I'm out of work and have the time.

If you haven't already then I would highly recommend listening to the Dim album when you get a second, especially if you enjoy Jimmy Eat World, The Dangerous Summer, The Get Up Kids, Taking Back Sunday, Anberlin, or anything of that ilk.

Not sure it’s been mentioned but run for cover has a new album out today by a band called Runnner (three n’s) called always repeating.

Kinda emo lo-fi indie with multiple instruments but it’s just really good

It's really good. Pairs well with the Clairo album too if you're digging that vibe.

Happy and surprised with the FELICITY record. Thought it would be another generic pop punk album, one in a crowd, which is totally fine for me. Not everything has to be ground breaking. But they got a bit of their own bite and style, heavier than expected, took me pleasantly off guard. I was anticipating being more in to some of the other albums that came out this week, but this one has stolen my ear.

After some thought, my choice for the best RIYL is newer era, pop rockier Hit the Lights. Always loved HTL.

That record has some certified BOPS. “Better Than Heaven” is so good.
