Another ridiculously exciting release day. Big ones for me are:

    Petey USA - The Yips
"Great music to walk to" - Petey, 2025

What more do you need to know? Every single was a knock-out so I'm expecting huge things from The Yips.

    aswekeepsearching - kyun?
First album in 5 years from the Indian post-rock band. They've always been a favourite of mine for their expansive and emotional compositions set below soaring Hindi vocals. They seamlessly blend traditional instrumentation with modern post-rock dynamics and are a force to be reckoned with if you are lucky enough to see them live. Take a punt on them. You won't regret it.

    Hammock - Nevertheless
I'm already most of the way through this and this is everything I expected from the ambient post-rock veterans who never really miss. They've crafted such a recognisable sound over the years and it is always such a comfort to delve into a new release from them.

Noah Cyrus - I WANT MY LOVED ONES TO GO WITH ME
"The Hardest Part" by Noah Cyrus was a complete surprise to me in 2022. It was a delicate and vulnerable folk album from the youngest of the 6 Cyrus siblings that I could not stop listening and singing along to. This new album looks to expand upon that sound and I'm sure this is going to end up in my most played of the year if it is anything like her last album.

    Other things on the radar:

    - Wet Leg - moisturizer
    - The Killers - Encore at the Garden

New Strung Out single reminds me of Blackhawks Over LA album, got that catchy something to it. Not gonna lie, I think they do it as well as their typical punk style and would not be opposed to more along these lines.

alot of pop punk vets (yellowcard/all american rejects/the starting line/good charlotte) have been releasing new songs recently.

meanwhile, its mgk thats releasing better pop punk songs than all of their new ones.

It's wild that you think MGK is doing pop-punk better than those aforementioned artists...To each his own, I suppose!
