That's what I wanted to say about that Casper Clausen album, but really need to add that it's my brother's birthday too hahah! And well, I haven't listened to a single song out of it yet, but I love Efterklang, I'll get it all ot once.

 

The Stereogum Album of the Week writeup of the Casper Clausen album piqued my interest, so I'm checking that out.

And also the debut EP from a band relatively local to me, Turnstiles, is out today. Mixed by Daniel Fox from Girl Band and is in a similar wheelhouse to that band, get into it if you like your post-punk on the noisier side:

I like the Chevelle song. They are really consistent to me.

 

Appreciate the words and am really glad the RR playlists are working for everyone. I take a lot from this thread every week, so that contribution on Friday morning is my way of giving back. And let’s be honest, it’s a kickass way to start the last day of the work week.

 

Vanity Score is definitely their best song. Loved that band.
