here's an album I've made with my band - we put a lot of work into it. if you like us find us on social media and/or buy it “LINELIOINS AREN’T JUST ANTICIPATING THE NEXT SHIFT IN THE FOLK MUSIC PARADIGM, THEY ARE THE NEXT SHIFT IN THE FOLK MUSIC PARADIGM” - For the Love of Bands Praised locally for their fun and exciting live show, linelions are a 6-piece alt-folk band that originated in the winter of 2015 in Pleasantville, NY by Mike Villata (guitar/vocals), Brie Wertalik (vocals/saxophone), Dan Wohl (drums), Chris Alley (guitar) and Chris Villata (bass)… and eventually joined by local singer-songwriter Daniel Woehr (Woehrwolf) on trumpet, banjo & accordion. Described as “bold and bouncing” with “crunchy and jangling guitars” the Americana tinged songs, with the back-and-forth vocals of Villata and Wertalik, on linelions sophomore album “ll” are sure to get you moving as much as they’re inclined to nudge you towards places of introspection. With comparisons ranging from the Lumineers and R.E.M. to Tiger Army and even Angel Olsen there is something for fans of all genres. website: linelions.com Spotify: https://spoti.fi/38Mzhyy iTunes: https://apple.co/2t4LBv6 Apple Music: https://apple.co/37vR50V BandCamp: http://bit.ly/2RPcPQu Instagram: @linelions • Instagram photos and videos Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/linelionsmusic my favorite songs are; We Are Safer, Mountains and Lakes, Sydney NSW my wife would recommend: Oliver Sacks and Closure hope y'all like it
New Charli Adams EP. Highly recommend her. For whatever reason I’m going to check out the new Krewella album. New singles by Slaves, lovelytheband.
Just singles and 1 EP on my radar today: Granite Hands (EP) The Wonder Years Heart to Heart Before their Eyes Tycho Ben Rosett Slaves
Didn’t know Krewella was still going. Nice to see they dropped the dubstep thing for more of an electronic/pop sound. Not my favorite band, but this release was at least fine in the background while working.
Everyone should listen to Dan Deacon. So good. Amazing, inventive electronic soundscapes. and the Huntingtons new album is great, gritty punk rock. Good stuff!

Hey, thanks so much for sharing. I can’t wait to dive into the album. I just wish it wasn’t so late already here, I really want to listen but don’t want to lose focus and fall asleep! Sydney, NSW is beautiful.
Things have finally started to come out again. *tricot, "Black" - Japanese math rock that has such cool drum parts. *Savage Hands, "The Truth in Your Eyes" - incredible post-hardcore with more of an explosive, driving sound. Vocalist also isn't too whiny. *Thoughts Factory, "Elements" - keyboard laden prog metal *Deathwhite, "Grave Image" - a little bit of post metal, a lil' bit of black metal, a smidgen of doom, with a sprinkle of alt rock. Better than their debut imo. *Wild Nothing, "Laughing Gas" - one of the only dream pop artists that I can never get enough of. *Kesha, "High Road" edit: Kesha is super disappointing compared to her last album.
In case anyone's in the mood for this, my new band E.R.I.E. just released a new single today - it's the second one from our upcoming record out on 3/6. For fans of Frank Turner, The Menzingers, Gaslight Anthem - that sorta thing. Bandcamp link below, but also on Spotify, Apple, etc. https://abandcallederie.bandcamp.com/
