Besides what has already been mentioned I would add: Frances Cone - Late Riser Kongos - 1929 (Part One)
I'll prob check out James Blake. Deerhunter Maggie Rogers Pedro the Lion The Twilight Sad Toro y Moi. (really excited for this so I hope it's good!)
Listening to that Hilton record right now, and lovin it. You have any thoughts on the new ones from The Steel Woods and Flatland Cavalry?
Toro Y Moi and Pedro the Lion already on my top albums of 2019 list. Wow. Enjoying the new Sharon Van Etten a lot too.
As I listen to the Fever 333 album, I find myself questioning my feelings towards their releases because I want to like them so much
Yeah. I'm on my second listen of this FC album, and I really like it. Reminds me of Turnpike Troubadors meets William Clark Green. Haven't spent much time with the Steel Woods yet, but looking forward to it. Sounds like they went a little more Black Crows for it.
There were 3-4 songs on that first Steel Woods album that I really, really loved and the rest didn't stick with me. I hope I like this one a little more on the whole.
