AFI Anxious A Stick and a Stone (doom-y, but not metal, dark folk. @Mary V I have a feeling you will enjoy this) Beach Bunny Bloody Hammers Dalit Danielle Durack Dread Sovereign Emma Ruth Rundle & Thou Fickle Friends Five Iron Frenzy Gravehuffer Molten Nadja / Disrotted split Painted Wives Weird Tales The Xcerts
I was coming in to mention this. I dig both of the new songs. I am always excited for new music from AFI.
Beach Bunny, Sleaford Mods, You Me at Six, and ZAYN were the only things on my radar today. Checking out Axel Flovent, Buck Meek, Danielle Durack, Five Iron Frenzy, and shame based on the recs in here. As a non-metal guy, my favorite "game" to play on Fridays is to guess which recommendations are metal solely based on the artist name or artwork. It's usually pretty easy but the Emma Ruth Rundle & Thou recs had me thinking it wasn't metal based on the name... then I looked at the artwork and my guess changed. I've definitely been fooled the other way as well.

Camp Trash single is so fucking good. Hey, you know how I heard this band was gonna be good? I'm a subscriber and I get Jason's newsletter. You all should do this!
Just saw that Death Cab released an EP of covers this week called The Georgia E.P. Didn't know what to expect when I saw they covered TLC's Waterfalls but it isn't bad Curious to see what their cover of Cat Power's Metal Heart sounds like, love that song.
I hadn't been crazy about Fickle Friends' recent singles, but the EP altogether is really working for me
It's wild how good this Camp Trash single is when their Spotify account currently lists "4 Monthly Listeners" hahaha That's gonna change REAL QUICK
