Also Tom Chaplin (lead singer of Keane) has a new album out today in the US. Going to give that a spin later!
excited to listen to oso oso later xx is pretty good so far, cautiously optimistic about dryjacket, will check out code orange and bonobo as well.
I'll be checking out The XX and Code Orange. Never listened to Code Orange before but the singles have me interested.
Curious how Dryjacket isn't on this list seeing has their singles have been posted as news on the website.
Just finished The XX record. I really enjoyed it but being so new to the band I'll need to give it some time to grow on me. Threw on the You Me at Six records next and considering I've never enjoyed them it's actually enjoyable.
Sohn - Rennen...electronic stuff, but I like the vocals and eeriness of the overall vibe it gives off.
Not usually mine either but figured there'd be some people in here that would like it...after watching John Bellion's YouTube stuff on creating his music I've grown more of an appreciation for the electronic stuff.
Looks like Circa Survive put out a Deluxe 10-Year Anniversary Edition of On Letting Go today as well.
She's written a song or two with Kacey in the past, so that makes sense! I listened to that this morning. Definitely liked it.
yeah theyre one of those sleeper bands. their first album went platinum and they've been hugely influential between a member producing on take care and everything else. i would recommend trying their first album before this one.
Going through You Me At Six right now. Considering I haven't heard much of their earlier work, there are actually some enjoyable moments on this album like the Heavy Soul chorus.
Is it downloadable somewhere? ;D I was really anticipating this Dryjacket album, so that's saved for tonight! Also should check out some stuff like xx and SOHN. Thanks for the info on Oso Oso, I'll catch up on it too!
