You all might have seen my band's sponsored post this past week about our new album, but it's out today! Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube links below. I know the surprise new Hayley Williams is out so that's probably all I'll be listening to, but if you were interested in checking this out in between binging her record then here you go.

If you're wondering what you're getting into, there are a lot of styles on the record but it's mainly indie rock/pop with some Latin/Brazilian influence. Like somewhere between Death Cab and Kali Uchis.

Also, yes, LMFTY is a Motion City Soundtrack reference (LGFUAD).

Definitely planning on listening to Foo Fighters and Hayley Williams this weekend. That Staves record sounded pretty cool too from what I listened to!

Looks like the 4th installment of Aaron Sprinkle's instrumental releases is up on Spotify today, which is a nice surprise.

I really liked the sponsored artist's new song (Teo & the Cosmic Neighborhood) so I'll be giving that album a listen for sure.

Also excited to check out The Weather Station, Hayley Williams, and the Foos. Big week this week!

EDIT: I don't want to get hyperbolic, especially because I've only listened to it once, but I think this is the best Foo Fighters album since Wasting Light. I know that's not saying a whole lot, I only remember liking Run and maybe one other song from the last record and I don't remember a single song from Sonic Highways. This one is short and sweet, has a great ratio of hard rockers to ballads to radio singles, and great pacing.

Sun June is really good. Saving rest for the night.

Also, a bit on the topic, I'd like to ask for a favor - I've just noticed kingdom-leaks has been shut down, and as much as I didn't really need it for the links (it's mostly all on Spotify and I do have an account, as well as I do buy some of music whenever I can), but their list of leaks on the calendar was something that kept me up-to-date as much as I needed. Of course here it's all good too, but they covered more releases, and I stopped lurking sinced like early September ehh, wanted to catch up now. Does anyone know a place where I could see a much-too-big list of releases from 2020?

The new releases posts at Heavy Blog Is Heavy do a good job of rounding things up, though they do focus more on heavy stuff: Release Day Roundup – 2/5/21 – Heavy Blog Is Heavy

Thanks! I'll use that too (and they've just got me more excited for Black Country, New Road). Though I'm really looking for an equivalent of a simple full-year list of releases, which kingdom-leaks happened to have each year, it was really quick to get through and catch up. It's funny but I'm really upset I hadn't checked their website out in December to save the list before they decided to shut it down.
