Got S. Carey recommended to me so I'll check that out. Heard good things about Turnstile and Young Statues as well so I'll go for those.

I'm not crying. You're not crying, are you?

    ---

Their voices are beautiful together. Pedro//Manchester//Julien Baker tour or Bazan//Bad Books//Julien Baker tour would be amazing and/or life changing.

Edit: I got the chance to see Julien, Manchester, and Bazan separately last year. I was insanely fortunate to see Manchester acoustic this year already, and have tickets to see Julien with Big Thief and Courtney Barnett in July, plus the high likelihood she's at Eaux Claires IV. Tickets for Pedro in August. Definitely getting ample opportunities to see them, but seeing them possibly collaborate together would be a dream.

From Andy in a Stereogum article:

"We met in person for the first time about 30 minutes before we started sketching out our re-creation. It didn’t take me but about five minutes to realize just how deeply talented and layered Julien is. I’ve called her ‘the truth’ ever since our first sessions and look forward to working with her as much as we can in the future."
