This reminds me of a band and I am struggling to place it. Maybe vocally a bit Captain, We’re Sinking? I like this

 

Every time a story of the year single is released, I assume the album has been released. Holy shit this feels long.

 

I fucking love this new Dad Hats album.

 

I didn't know anything released today but checked out dad hats and digging it so far.

Idk if it's the singer, kind of getting captain we're sinking vibes a tiny bit

 

New Caroline Polachek and Yo La Tengo have been getting me through the week. Plus Paramore has been growing on me a ton with repeat listens.

Also enjoying the re-release of Tycho's OG 2002 EP The Science of Patterns despite the shitshow. He made it exclusive to his "open source" community and it was riddled with blockchain wallet/NFT bullshit when it could have easily just been a Bandcamp thing.

Wild Party released a new song and compiled the singles they've released over the last few years into an EP. Working toward a full-length this year, their first since 2014.

I thought Anthony Green was going to be on the Skrillex album, but I don't see him listed as featured on any tracks on Spotify. Anyone know which song he's on or if it's not released yet?

Same, I actually only checked it out for that ;d ;d but I guess it was a newer idea they've been working on then, whereas this new album was probably finished by then. On the other hand I've read somewhere that one track on Anthony's record (or L.S. Dunes maybe) was transformed from a song that was supposed to be written for Skrillex or something - so maybe a change of plans or something

Well, apparently he released an entire second album yesterday and it has the song with Anthony on it. It's called 3AM

 

Yeah I just came here straight away after seeing it on Anthony's ig to fix my last post hahah, I'm yet to listen to it though

 

So I haven't posted what I've been looking into for a while and I've decided to go ahead and rectify that.

Was operating on the faulty logic that I would check out the albums first and then report back on what I listened to. Clearly that's not working out.
