Didn't know Bartees Strange had a new album. Excited to check that out. Otherwise not much else that I'm into this week but as always will lurk and try to find some new stuff.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it

Bukowski jumped out to me immediately. It sounds like something everyone would be talking about here or on Reddit yet absolutely no one is. Great rec

The Winona Fighter album is as good as advertised. Been jamming some similar bands lately like Sincere Engineer, worlds greatest dad, and Pool Kids and this new WF album will slot right in.

venturing album has a haunting something to it. “Believe” rattled my soul a bit this morning. Think we’d have some fans here.

there are some odd production choices, but on the whole it’s pretty good. the band recorded it themselves mostly so maybe that’s why. peculiar vocal stuff, level -ish is what i’m getting at.

No prob! I was supposed to get a full-album download of the record with purchase of the vinyl, but that part of it has been delayed too, apparently...

I just noticed the listing I used to pre-order the vinyl has a new street date (luckily my vinyl arrived earlier this week). Here's what is says for timing:

This vinyl release is currently anticipated to ship around mid-late March/early April 2025.

I did! I actually like it better than New Nostalgia. The band seems to really be coming into their own on Attention Deficit. Bert McCracken has a feature on one of the tracks on the front half, and the overall package of the record will be great for fans of Saosin or Cove Reber in general. Can't wait for others to put their ears on it and see what they think!
