Did't see an EP but there is a new album coming April 8th.

 

which one? I think I see them all there, but it’s very possible that one is just the collection of singles marked as an EP thing that Spotify does

 

Never listened to Big Thief until now. I imagine they'll sell out of cassettes at Urban Outfitters very fast.

 

oh gotcha, Spotify has it listed as an EP titled Bronco, Chapter 1, so I figured it was one of those tiered album releases

 

He's releasing it in 3 parts, like Hayley Williams and Beach House, and the first part, "Chapter 1", is out today.

 

The Beth's single says July, 1st 2022 on Apple Music. Haha!!!

 

Hoping that's actually the release date for an album or EP (it is a Friday . . .)

Did not see any new Bludgeoned or Sons of a Tradesman. Also, the new Scorpions doesn't come out until February 25th.

 

Dead American hell ya

 

Specifically, they reimagined each other's songs from the album. Which is a pretty cool concept for bands like them that have two distinct songwriters.

 

Really couldn't get into their first album - the lyrics were distractingly...not for me. But first listen and I enjoyed this a lot more. Not sure if the lyrics got better, or they're just masked better within the music. Reminds me a bit of Capstan's album from last year.

 

Capstan is a very fitting comparison. And I would enjoy both Capstan and Dead American much more if they had better, less distractingly embarrassing lyrics.

 

Yeah it sounds like all their other stuff. I haven't liked any of it, and I'm not liking this either. She sounds like a goat.

 

I don't think she sounds like a goat at all but to each their own I guess

 

So I had a band Dead Romantic on my list for this week. Added their album to my Spotify list. Went back today to listen to it, and found it most of it has been blacked out.

Apparently they didn't intend to actually release the album today, cause now Amazon says it's out in June. Whoops!

It's not that I don't get it, but it grinds my gears a little to get so close to hearing an album and then it's snatched away.

 

Interesting. It's still available in my Spotify to play in its entirety, but I wonder if it's because I'd already downloaded it? I'd have presumed it'd still have been made unavailable.
