It’s a super slow period for music at the end of the year, and we don’t have any releases in our calendar for the week. Hit the comments to access our forums and talk about what came out today, what albums you picked up, and to make mention of anything we may have missed.

Its list season so not much of anything at all. I've been catching up on stuff I've missed.

Worst Party Ever record is a short commitment and worth checking out

And I liked the new Higher Power single

I listened to that Tricot album yesterday. Thought it came out sooner and I missed it. Btw. I played it in my office and people were a bit weirded out hahah. It's good of course!

That new And So I Watch You From Afar double single is awesome as hell too!

    Aaaachem!

I love him and BSF but his solo releases have been lackluster. His strength is definitely not in instrumentation so when he's just playing acoustic power chords it gets a little repetitive. Is this a full band release or another acoustic album?

I really don't know how you do it. So much new music every week - I feel like you consume more in a week than I in a year anymore.

Thanks! Hope you find them useful.

I don't get to listen to ALL of the albums and EPs, though I listen to a good chunk. The singles though I listen to them all as I just listen to the playlist I make after making it to check them all out.

    Aaaachem!

It's a curious thing. Sounds like they took the raw studio tracks before they pitch corrected and did other little tweaks and then just turned up the rhythm guitars.

This is under a band called "Nathan Gray and the Iron Roses" even though the cover art just credits Nathan Gray. It's got a nice collaboration with Tim McIlrath of Rise Against on the title track. Definitely worth a listen!
