No love for the new Lisa Hannigan album, At Swim. She's a fantastic singer songwriter from Ireland. Got her start working and touring with Damien Rice on his first two albums, and she's had a nice solo career since then. This is her first album since 2011, and it was produced by Aaron Dessner of The National. It's sooooo good. Really gorgeous atmosphere. And @Jason Tate, I think you would be a fan of this.

Halfway through it and I can already tell I will be spending some time with this one. At times the similarities with Andy are uncanny but luckily not enough to be distracting. I'll finish the album before giving more thoughts on it.
This thread is what I look forward to all week. Haven't heard of really most of these bands but I've got 5 lined up to spin this morning.
I'm really pleased that I'm not alone in loving this thing. Threads like this is what this website/community is all about, right?
