Haven't tracked Kip Moore since Slowheart when I saw him play to 1k in the UK. Amazingly on his recent tour he played a place with the biggest capacity in the city, although I'm sure the upper decks must've been closed but certainly 4-5k minimum.
One of my bands just released a new single today. It’s the third single from our new album, which will be out next week on Say-10 Records. Here’s the other two singles in case you’re curious. And if you like what you hear, pre-order the album here: One moment, please...
Ethel Cain Blackbraid Anamanaguchi Crypt Sermon Will likely check out Good Charlotte too, and Asunojokei thanks to that @CapnJazzHandz rec New BABYMETAL is very disappointing. Especially hearing a STP feature 3 tracks in.
Hey buddy! Saw your avatar and then caught the username. I don’t check the comments here nearly as much as ThePRP.
I think the combo sounds so good that I can’t believe that it’s never really been done before. It’s like 80’s smooth jazz metalcore. So weird. Haha I for sure think this is his best! I think some of the interludes are a touch long, but that’s really just a tiny quibble. I love his mix of atmosphere and riffs! DUDE. I know. What the fuck happened? I only like 3 songs, and love none. At least they released half the album before today, so I knew that I would be somewhat disappointed.
Your posts in here are so appreciated. I love the descriptions and just checking out what sounds good to me out of your lineup. Always gives me a few curveballs. Quiet-ish week for me so I'll be giving some unfamiliar artists a go from the above (Asunojokei, Dreamwake, Babymetal and Thousand Below). I've currently got Ethel Cain on and fuck me this is a MOOD already. Opening tracks feel very cinematic with Willoughby's Theme giving me proper chills. I enjoyed Fuck Me Eyes and Nettles a lot so thought I'd finally give one of her albums a go and not baulk at the length like I usually do.
Closest I’ve heard is Shrezzers, but they do more electronic than synth. Sweet sax with the djent tho.
Dude! Had a feeling you were also around here since our music tastes overlap with a lot of what get covered on this site.
Thanks, man! I’m curious what you think of Asunojokei. Their last album is a similar quality to Think of You. I like Shrezzers okay, but they’re just too… bro-y for me? And the name/logo being a ripoff of Brazzers makes me cringe every time I see it. I wish I liked them more.
