Mark Ronson produced the new QOTSA album??? How did I not know this? I'm more intrigued than ever now...
Pvris – All We Know Of Heaven, All We Need Of Hell (Which I already really like) Queens of the Stone Age – Villains The War on Drugs – A Deeper Understanding Turnover – Good Nature New Being As An Ocean too, about time this cycle started. Trying to give Brand New a break here.
The new QOTSA is great! Looks like they really put the effort into this one, and absolutely no filler at all with 9 blazing tracks. Oh, it's good by the way haha
Any day with more than one release I've been looking forward to is a great release day. This is an amazing one since it has 3. The War on Drugs - A Deeper Understanding Turnover - Good Nature Our Lady Peace - Somethingness Vol. 1
So stoked on baao. Sucks that it had to come down to them buying out their contract, but very stoked for new music.
Sooo much music to check out today! Mostly excited about The War On Drugs, Daniel Caesar, and Turnover.
I've heard that's the weakest part of the album from a friend who loves them. He said the production is really...sterile but the songs should kill live...
First listen of pvris didn't do much to me, not too memorable outside of heaven, what's wrong, and winter. Turnover is great. Queens, dead leaves, iron and wine, war on drugs on deck. Will also check out the being as an ocean song.
