    Aaaachem!

Im still holding out hope the NEXT Goo Goo Dolls release will harken back to their late 80s/early 90s sound. It’ll happen. It will.

    • Deftones (private music) -- Honestly, it's really going to be hard to listen to other things besides this absolutely incredible album. Already up there with White Pony & Diamond Eyes for me.
    • The World Is A Beautiful Place... (Dreams of Being Dust) -- Emo luminaries add some real aggressive post-hardcore to their emo/post-rock hybrid music.
    • Farseer (Portals to Cosmic Womb) -- Really good death doom with Elder-like psychedelic passages
    • Wolf Alice (The Clearing) -- Catchy alt-rock trades their fuzzy sound for one more rooted in the 70's.
    • Woe, Is Me (Daybreak) -- I still hate that comma, and this is still catchy metalcore. Small country influence.
    • Hot Mulligan (The Sound a Body Makes When It's Still) -- Catchy emo. I don't think I've ever been disappointed by an album from them.
    • Glass Lungs (Afterglow) -- Reminds me a little of a slower, post-rock On Letting Go (Circa Survive).
    • Burning Witches (Inquisition) -- Fun all-woman power metal band.
    • Signs of the Swarm (To Rid Myself of Truth) -- Quality deathcore.
    • We Came As Romans (All Is Beautiful... Because We're Doomed) -- Why not? I've already listened to Woe, Is Me today.
Also, this album came out in June, but I constantly keep going back to it. Glass Garden (Desperate Little Messages). Experimental hip-hop/Jazz/Adult Contemporary mix. Truly wonderful. First song is a good test to see if you will like it. Need to see these dudes live.

Digging this and a great description. Recognized them off the Saves the Day tribute compilation.

Gotta say Hot Mulligan didn’t move the needle much for me. I was really in to the World is a Beautiful Place… def running that back sooner than later

I just can’t get into the vocals. A song will come on Spotify and I’m like oh this is cool, and then thirty seconds later I’m like no thanks
