Solid day! I'll be checking these out first along with a bunch of recs from the thread: PUP Periphery Knocked Loose (this EP totally flew under my radar) Lady Lamb
PUP and Knocked Loose will likely be playing all day. Might check out I Love Your Life and Weyes Blood. (although I know nothing about both artists).
I'm listening to a lot of stuff people already mentioned (PUP, Knocked Loose, Mike Mains) but also: Martha JAWS Both are great indie rock bands!
New Pup is predictably incredible and will be getting a million spins, but ya'll should check out the new one from Martha as well! Saw them open for Jeff Rosenstock a year or two ago and they were great, so if you're a fan of Jeff and/or catchy pop punk/rock you should give it a shot:
Control Top JAWS (thanks for the person who reminded me their new album is out today!) Khalid PUP The Drums Checked out A Time To Stand, although the album listed isn't on Spotify. Decent skate/pop punk. Singer sounds like the singer of Millencolin
Canyon City - Bluebird for anyone looking for acoustic vibes and crisp production from a relatively unknown artist
Brother you and I agree Accidental Racist walked so Old Town Road could run. Holy shit I had to google this. hahahhaahha
On a serious note, my buddy sent me this. Imagine if Periphery, Dryjacket, Chon, From Indian Lakes, and Pianos had a love child.
New song from Frontierer today as well! Bonus track from Unloved featuring both vocalists of Employed to Serve.
Love the new PUP. Lot of really good gritty punk(ish) releases (PUP, La Dispute) and chill releases (Copeland, American Football, Wallows, Andrew Bird, Flume) this year.
