Eh, if it had been any other character I’d buy that. Edit: yes, sinister, but I don’t think they’d use that theme unless it was him.
How did Ahsoka and Sabine know where to run? And did they take water breaks? My sides would be cramping
These new dark side Jedi are early Knights of Ren right? At least that is the feeling I got. Spinny lightsaber guy's mask gave it away.
Huyang told them their camp is close and prob gave them the coordinates. I assume a basic scan of the area.
What an episode. The way Marrok disintegrated reminded me of all the zombie witches on Dathomir in Jedi Fallen Order for some reason My wife just whispering "Sabine, no!" was my favorite part of watching it Very interesting to have Anakin in there, and waiting and expecting Ahsoka When will Ahsoka learn to stay together and not get separated? I still like that Baylan doesn't seem to be just straight evil, and has some compassion left in him How did Carson not bring Zeb along with him to help Hera? Really loving the sound design in this show so far. The hyperspace jump and after effects sounded awesome Needed more Chopper
I really enjoy the lightsaber duels in this episode. They felt measured and with real intent to hurt vs. just flips and acrobatics.
Great to see this much saber dueling in this one. Loved Baylan's style vs Ahsoka. Could use some more energy from Rosario though. She feels the same in nearly every scene so far. Hopefully she gets a chance to be a bit more dynamic with Anakin next week.
dope episode. definitely felt like an extra level with the fight choreography, Ahsoka trying to get the map was a fun twist on the usual laser sword stuff. laughed out loud at Sabine just shooting rockets at sith apprentice too, that shit was classic Sabine we're really not getting Thrawn or all the Rebels sans Kanan reunited till the last two episodes are we
Ahsoka just using one strike to take down Marrok was cool. Her barely being able to jump off a wall in her fight against baylan was lame. When they stay in their lane it’s good.
I took that as she let her emotions get the best of her, what she was trying to convey to Sabine not to do… But the whole samurai vs medieval warrior theme was amazing and I love seeing styles again. And also, her mimicking Anakin’s style holding the saber over her head didn’t go unnoticed!
I missed it when watching but saw in a review of the episode that she was able to defeat Marrok by timing her strike to go through the spinning blade, that's pretty awesome and fits in with her inquisitor fight in Tales of the Jedi
This episode fucking ruled, holy shit. Amazing action/visuals and the story is getting really gripping now I didn't necessarily read Anakin showing up as him being villainous. If it's really him/his ghost, this is after he has already been redeemed in ROTJ so he wouldn't be dark anymore. They're in that place from one of the last few episodes of Rebels where Ahsoka and Ezra were; we still haven't really fully established the rules of it as far as I know so I really don't know what to expect. If this really is Anakin/his essence then they're really taking a gamble here adding to his story after his ending but I fully trust whatever Filoni is doing Did they explain yet what the map actually is/where it came from? Seems pretty convenient that this random object can point to exactly the two people they're looking for but I may have missed or forgotten the explanation
We know a couple of the “rules” of the world between worlds, and one of them is that they are very much linked to the Mortis Gods. The Mortis Gods unlock and lock the portal on lethal. Morai (The Daughter) greets Ezra upon his arrival. We also know the Son had a keen fascination with Anakin, and even was the first to show him he’s Vader destiny. Im still holding to the theory that it’s neither Anakin, nor Vader, but the Son playing games. This is my Ted Talk.
World between worlds exists outside of time. An older Ezra saved Ahsoka from 2-3 years in HIS past, but she was saved from HER present which was years ago for Ezra. He pulls her into the WBW and both exist in that time and space. Okay, just had a thought. It’s possible WBW could exist in a linear timeline, but seems unlikely. I may actually lean this was based on Palpatine poking in to attack Ezra and Ahsoka due to Ezra opening the doors. Even if this is the case, you can come and go through various portals at various times. All this to say, I believe that this is Vader, but he entered before the events of ROTJ and he is masking himself as Anakin. That’s my theory. It feels unlikely Anakin found it before he became Vader, but that’s also a possibility if it truly is Anakin.
