Listened to a short podcast interview where one of the executive producers made it seem like they’ll be submitting Patti LuPone for an Emmy. Would love to see where they could go from here story wise but for me, so much of the magic of this season was the cast as an ensemble. Probably safe to assume they’d intend to keep Rio involved given Billy being an abomination and trying to do the same thing for Tommy. I’d hope to see more of Jen as well
Liked the show overall. Really picked up in the last 3 eps, with ep 7 being the highlight. Would probably rank this under Loki and Wandavision and above pretty much everything else as far as the Disney+ MCU shows.
In light of the recent conversation about Agatha’s motives, I just saw this and thought it was really insightful.
Those three things are also three things she learned from the coven. I’ve really enjoyed being able to read all the analysis and commentary
I feel like I read somewhere that she is specifically Death, not Lady Death. But I don’t really know.
The Marvel account made their own Agathario edit lmfao. I bet they’re so upset they didn’t realize how much the Twitter lesbians would be obsessed with them. If this makes the MCU more gay going forward I’ll take it.
I assumed the storyline would end with Visuon Quest. What would a season two of Agatha be about then?
God, i'd love for it to happen, but this is probably standard protocol for all series regardless of its pickup status (case in point, viewers of a show i loved that got cancelled this year were sent surveys asking what they'd like to see in the nonexistent next season, and after the cancellation). but if the love is there and a second season fits within the MCU's existing timeline, i'm all in.
Yeah they haven’t even started filming Vision Quest yet. I’d imagine they could probably get a season of this done quicker than that show since they mostly used practical effects
I read some bits in interviews that this whole Westview Trilogy idea isn't something that came from Marvel but something that fans and the media have connected, so it wouldn't surprise me if Vision Quest turned out to be unrelated to Tommy.
Yeah it’s not a trilogy and Jac Schaefer isn’t involved in VisionQuest so I’m not sure what to expect from it
I kinda love but also hate that this little corner of the MCU is getting so much love and attention. Sure I want more Wanda, Vision, and their kids (and Agatha), but liek, iirc we're also no longer getting Eternals 2 and that one Shang Chi spinoff show. Until we get Shang Chi 2 I think Kamala is our only Asian rep to be in multiple projects so far. I still think Tilda's role should've been played by an Asian actor/actress. That scene with Bruce in Endgame could've hit a lot differently
At this point I think they have to consider a second season if Jac can come up with a story that works
