    To me, the new album kind of sounds like if Paul Rudd was in an A24 dramedy about a guy who was in a goth band and they released that goth band’s album as the soundtrack.

    FINALLY getting around to this and yea even though they don't go for the same sound this stands out soooooooooooo much more than Bodies for me. And more than the Blood Album for that matter too, so I'll echo that it's definitely their best since Burials.

    Also happy to see this charted better than Bodies, hope the band is excited to see that happen. Gotta give it more listens but man so many instrumental parts stick out to me, also something I haven't felt as strongly with them since Burials.

    At the Fillmore gig right now, kinda surprised they sold it out but the vibe is very exciting seeming, they're about to go on so will report any fun shenanigans
