These singles feel like they finally are making a leap to the post-punk/darkwave sound they've been flirting with since Burials. I'm into it.

 

Apparently somebody received their cassette preorder of this today. Hoping for a leak soon.

Wow for some reason I thought the release date for this was farther away, I didn't realize it's in only a couple weeks

 

Shuffling through their discography this morning and can't wait to add this to the rotation.

 

I love that Davey changes his look every single record and doesn’t give a solitary fuck.

Also: I hate that this scratched an itch in my brain, but holy shit, Behind the Clock at 1.25x on YouTube sounds like a STS B-side. It’s got a MEAN groove.

Well, I guess it's suffice to say there's still bad blood between Dexter and Davey...

Multiple stabs at Nitro Records (the label AFI were signed to and Dexter owned), referring to Dexter as simply "the owner," and throwing shade towards The Offspring for covering "Totalimmortal."

Their fallout has been well documented over the years.
