Damn Will Yip said a new song he did was coming this week and I for sure thought it'd be Citizen. Maybe by the end of the week.

I don't think Citizen will have anything announced before Friday. Mat said st one of his "solo" shows opening for Sorority Noise that it'd most likely be after this tour. And the record out in October. But who knows.

 

Yeah makes sense I guess. Just seems weird to me not to start the record cycle with a big tour like this. But oh well! I know for sure they'll play a new song, if they didn't that'd be stupid

 

I agree. I thought it was really silly but then again I'm just a guy behind a phone that goes to shows. Haha. are you going Friday?

Haha. I scheduled to get off early that day. I want to go mostly to see Citizen since I saw AFI a few weeks ago and I have already seen Circa once and probably again later this year. The only thing that has me on the fence is $35+ for the ticket.

 

AFI is a band I can watch over and over. Really wish I could have made that Cleveland show.

 

I can understand that. They put on a really good show in Cleveland and I know the setlists vary each night but I'm very much a casual fan of them.

 

Cool cool. Yeah they have been killing it with the setlists this year.

Saw RFC post "Midnight" about 10 minutes before midnight, so I went searching for it on streaming services. So fucking stoked on this song. It's pretty great.

Is it a fact that AFI is closing every night, even though this is a coheadliner?

 

I'm pretty sure that they are because there stage setup is bigger, CS played in front of there backdrop / lighting setup. Each band gets an hour and Ciz got a half-hour with half-hour set changes.
