So happy they're coming back to Baltimore after coming to DC on the first leg, can't fucking wait October is AFI season too
Listened to Sing For Sorrow the other day and enjoyed quite a bit of it. Some i'd heard before, but there were other songs that gave me a bit of a nostalgia buzz despite never hearing them before. Enjoyed that a lot and wasn't expecting it at all. Lost a little interest towards the end, but would definitely listen to it again.
Can't help but be interested in what you took to and what you didn't? Right? Mind is all over place wondering. Been 20 years since I've heard that loop
They already announced the DU re-presses and dropped a merch collection, so I wonder if they're doing another one-off anniversary show like for StS.
i flew out from jersey for it - i'm glad I went but it was honestly kind of a letdown. especially since they eventually released the version with all of the b-sides on it, I went in imagining we'd get something like that but no just the album and maybe the shortest afi set i've seen in my 25 years of seeing them. i wouldn't even consider traveling for a Decemberunderground show - I've been having an internal struggle for two decades about if i even like it (besides the 4 or so songs that are undeniable). from what I've been told there was never a TOUR planned for it, the big show being a Sing the Sorrow thing was because they hadn't been able to tour. Remember, that was March 2003 and they were on the road on the Bodies tour for all of fall 2022.
