Here’s the setlist from last night's show: Girl's Not Grey Love Like Winter End Transmission Behind the Clock The Killing Lights The Boy Who Destroyed the World Marguerite (Live debut) Beautiful Thieves Escape From Los Angeles Holy Visions A Single Second 17 Crimes Snow Cats Rabbits are Roadkill I Hope You Suffer Days of the Phoenix Encore: The Bird of Prey (Live debut) Silver and Cold
Man what I’d give to see killing lights and rabbits Crazy to me that beautiful thieves is a set list staple. Never liked that song at all. On a related note, it’s Interesting to see that they’re not completely beholden to their 2 most popular records like most of their peers. Commendable, but makes for an awkward set list imo.
I love how much they continue to bust out End Transmission. Truly Crash Love's highlight and should have been a single at the time. Remains one of my favorite songs.
Definitely looks like they're playing totally different sets every night again, I love how they've done that on the last few tours No Miss Murder either night definitely seems intentional though
They said they have like 73 songs they rehearsed for this tour. Last night had 9 different songs than the first show. Absolutely amazing show, and heard so many songs I didn’t think I ever would.
I think this will be a tour where you'll be simultaneously jealous of what other dates got and also ecstatic about your own show's set. At least that's how I feel comparing Detroit to Madison.
These setlists give me so much FOMO. I've still yet to see this band live after like 24 years of being a fan lol. I finally had tickets to see them open up for 30STM last year annnd the show got canceled a few days beforehand with no real announcement. Now this tour (like 90% of the ones in the past) is nowhere near me. haha.
I really really hope they do a second American leg, I'd love to see them again and my girlfriend has gotten absolutely obsessed with them over the last few months
While I still don't care for the cover art, they nailed this whole album's vibe and aesthetic so incredibly.
I was legit shocked at the changes to Jades rig but I guess gotta stay with the times... that one schecter with the sustaniac has me jonesing HAAAARD though
I saw them together in 2013. I was 12 and by far the youngest there, and Touche had just put out Is Survived By.
I went to three shows on that run, definitely my favorite afi tour at the time. I mean, basically my two favorite bands? Yes. The kids who don't like music besides afi and show up at 8am to try and get on the rail cause Davey havok omg? They hate when they get touched, and there was no way I was taking it easy for touche. I realized the other day I haven't missed an afi tour, usually with multiple shows, since the pre-STS tour. I specificall remember being surprised the Philly show was the TLA. Big underplay for them at the time
